The 2010-2011 school year just ended a few weeks ago. That means preparation for the 2011-2012 school year is just starting. The word for the 2011-2012 school year is “triple”.
We are going from 10 TEALS teachers to 33, 4 schools to 13. We are growing much faster than I originally anticipated, but that’s a good thing, it means more students in the Puget Sound area will get CS education in high school.
Speaking of which, we just got the AP CS scores back and our first TEALS AP CS class at Issaquah High School averaged 4.15, a full point over the 3.14 national average for last year.
