Developing Shared Goals (CS Discoveries - Code.org)

Context: CS Discoveries teachers have widely varying needs, depending on their background and comfort with the style of teaching called for in the Code.org CSP course and the material covered. Because of these different needs, it's important for volunteers and classroom teachers to have an open and honest conversation about shared and distinct needs while the volunteer is in the room. This conversation should be grounded in the context of the teacher's goals for her classroom, and volunteers and classroom teachers should plan to check in on their progress towards the classroom goals.

Before the year starts, meet with your teaching team (including the classroom teacher) and set a plan for how you will work together in the classroom. Be sure to talk through each of the questions below during your conversations:
