Classroom Teacher:

1. 1. Classroom Teacher creates a teacher account by going to http://academy.cs.cmu.edu/register#teacher and requesting an account
2. 2. Once the teacher's account is approved/activated: Check with your school's policy if you can share this account with the Teals' volunteers
3. 3. Create a classroom: Tutorial on creating accounts

Volunteers:

1. 1. Volunteers create an account and join the class as a student with the classroom register code. This gives full access to the curriculum but no access to the teacher portal, Gradebook, etc. https://academy.cs.cmu.edu/register
2. 2. Classroom teachers can then upgrade the volunteer's account to mentor status in the classroom system.
