Serving as a Remote teacher comes with unique challenges as well as tremendous opportunities. As a teacher working with students in a Distance Learning classroom, you will complete three learning opportunities specially designed to orient you to the TEALS Rural and Distance program as well as the tools and techniques you will need to be successful in a Remote classroom.
Rural and Distance Setup Workshop
During this session you will take a tour of newrow_ (our preferred video conferencing service) and learn best practices for setting up your audio and video systems. You will also test the audio and video systems you will be working with as you teach during the school year.
